Pierre Metivier, president, founder and driving force behind Automated Living, has been in the automation industry for more than three decades. His extensive electrical engineering background and experience is unequaled by most of today's automation programmers.

Our unique ability to integrate the separate functions of your home (i.e. lighting control, thermostats, security, audio and video distribution) into one cohesive system is what sets us apart from the competition. Our goal is to ensure the smooth, cost-efficient design, installation and operation of these functions.

How your plan comes together
Phase I
You do not need to be technologically inclined in order to use or help plan an automated home. We meet with you to determine your needs and we develop a customized plan based on conversations with you, observations of your home, and our experience. Our team will make you aware of additional options that are available for your home, because we never want to hear a customer say, "I wish I'd known you could do that for me."
Phase II
We design and direct the total installation of structured wiring and all related hardware (i.e. automation, security, HVAC, lighting and audio controls, speakers, etc.) Or if you have already contracted with a lighting or home entertainment contractor, we are happy to work with that person to help bring about the results you want.
Phase III
The final phase involves trimming-out the wiring and is normally completed before the move-in date. At this time, we do the final wiring to all the decorative plates and connectors in each room. The central hub wiring is also completed. This involves interconnecting all the wiring to every room and from satellite, phone, video services, cameras, audio and security. When this Phase is complete, you are ready to begin using your exciting new automated home.
